ASEAN House Dormitory
Guidelines for Monthly Tenants

  1. The tenant should not allow more than 2 persons per room. The tenant must also keep the room clean and ensure it does not become dirty or develop a bad odor.
  2. It is prohibited for guests to enter the dormitory. In case a necessary situation arises, the tenant must inform the ASEAN House Dormitory staff.  Guests are not allowed to enter and stay overnight in the rooms.
  3. Ironing clothes on the bed is prohibited.
  4. Throwing sanitary pads, toilet paper, food or other items into toilets, sinks, and drains is prohibited.
  5. Cooking in the room is prohibited.
  6. Smoking in the dormitory is prohibited. (The ASEAN Institute for Health Development, is a smoke-free educational institution.)
  7. Keeping pets in the dormitory is prohibited.
  8. Bringing illegal substances, flammable materials, drugs, or weapons into the dormitory is prohibited.
  9. The tenant must refrain from making noise.
  10. The tenant is required to maintain the property of the dormitory and not alter any furnishings or equipment in the space. If any property is damaged due to the tenant’s actions, they will be responsible for paying for any damages to the common property and the goods in the room.
  11. Leaving shoes or any property along the walkway is forbidden.
  12. Do not press the alarm button, unless there is an urgent situation.
  13. The tenant must allow the ASEAN House Dormitory staff to perform inspections or repairs in the room from time to time. The landlord will notify the tenant in advance.
  14. The tenant is responsible for bringing the garbage to the destined garbage bin point.
  15. ASEAN House Dormitory provides parking services only. ASEAN House Dormitory will not be responsible for any damage or loss incurred to property, vehicles, or any equipment and components of the vehicles parked within the premises.
  16. ASEAN House Dormitory will not be responsible for any lost property belonging to the tenants in the room under any circumstances.
  17. To move items out of the university premises, an exit permit from the institute is required and must be presented to the security personnel at the university gates.
  18. In case, the tenant plans to travel to another city or abroad temporarily, they must hand over the room key to ASEAN House Dormitory staff to prevent any potential loss of the key.
